This Tensioner Assembly replaces the worn original in the original equipment location without shimming, drilling or adapters. Sealing faces are machined and pressure-tested in batches, because a gasket that weeps at operating temperature costs far more in labour than it does in parts. A value-tier fitment for a sensible repair on an older vehicle, not a compromise on safety.
