This Steering Rack replaces the worn original in the original equipment location without shimming, drilling or adapters. The rod is hard-chromed and the seal package is multi-lip, which is the difference between a damper that lasts five years and one that weeps by the next inspection. A value-tier fitment for a sensible repair on an older vehicle, not a compromise on safety.
