Gates builds this Heater Core to the original equipment envelope, so it bolts into the original equipment location using the factory hardware. The core is pressure-tested and the tanks are crimped over a fresh gasket, so it holds system pressure instead of seeping at the seam. A value-tier fitment for a sensible repair on an older vehicle, not a compromise on safety.
